Page groups

Organizer+

A page group is a labeled range of pages — “Early Years,” “The Army Letters,” “The Farm 1952–1968.” Groups give a book structure, let readers jump around, and let you write a shared summary that introduces the section.

Creating a group

Open the book, press Admin at the top, and look for the Page Groups section. Press + New Group.

Markdown & person links in summaries

Summaries can use basic Markdown for formatting:

Editing a group

In the Admin panel, each existing group appears with an edit button next to it. Press it to change the label, move the range, or update the summary.

Deleting a group

Press the delete button next to a group. The pages aren’t deleted — only the grouping. You can always regroup them later.

Ranges can’t overlap

Two groups can’t cover the same page. If your new group’s range bumps into an existing one, move or shrink the other group first.

How readers see groups

The thumbnail strip shows a little label at the start of each group. The group intro — title + summary — appears as a “cover page” between sections when someone flips through the book.
